About the Summer of Wellbeing Festival

NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly and Healthy Cornwall, together with lots of other local organisations, are running a health and wellbeing campaign called ‘Healthier Together’ providing advice and information about how you can make small changes in your daily life that will have a big impact on your future health and wellbeing.

Come along to our free Summer Wellbeing festivals

As part of our campaign we’re running free Summer Wellbeing Festivals so why not attend one happening close to you:

  • Saturday 3 August - Redruth Rugby Club and CN4C at the Elms, Redruth
  • Saturday 3 August - Park House Centre, Bude
  • Friday 9 August - Humphry Davy School and Trelya, Penzance
  • Saturday 17 August - Poltair Park and CN4C at the One and All Bank, St Austell  
  • Saturday 17 August - Town Hall, Launceston  
  • Saturday 14 September - Basset Centre, Camborne
  • Saturday 14 September - Hayle Recreation Ground, Hayle 
  • Saturday 21 September - Newquay Orchard

Register to Volunteer

As part of the campaign, the festival team are looking for volunteers to help at the events.

Types of volunteer roles will include:

  • Meet and greet of the public attending - you could help out on a stall, meet and greet at the events, and complete questions/short survey with those attending
  • Helping to organise the events and logistics
  • Set up and helping with practical roles on the day - this could involve some lifting/moving around the site
  • Looking after people - this may be accompanying a person coming to the event
  • Other roles will be available, so please tell us what skills you may have when filling in the form

The festival organisers are currently not taking any new volunteer applications.
