Leadership and Management
Volunteer Cornwall has been successfully delivering Volunteer Management qualifications since 2012 and as ILM (City & Guilds) approved centre we continue to delivering a suite of courses in Leadership & Management. These qualifications are suitable for those working in all sectors - VCSE, private and public. Join the 70k other people who enhanced their performance with an ILM qualification last year, and fast-track your way to the top with ILM leadership and management qualifications. In addition to continuing our expertise at Level 3, we are now offering progression qualifications at Level 4. These provide an opportunity to achieve a qualification and to develop a peer support network in the volunteer management arena.

VSF Learning Academy Funded Training for VCSE staff and volunteers
The VSF Learning Academy offers funding for training for community for staff and volunteers in roles such as community workers, support workers, and social prescribers. Some eligibility criteria will apply.

Volunteering for Health
Any volunteer who supports the NHS may be eligible for funding from Volunteering for Health programme for training. This would include First Aid and Manual Handling which is often not supported through other types of funding. People in Mind - Eligibility
Free training on Mental Health and Suicide First Aid, delivered through Volunteer Cornwall, is available for any volunteer or staff member supporting one of the community hubs registered to the Community Hub Network. This is funded through people in Mind.

This qualification is designed for new and aspiring department heads, regional team leaders and other middle managers – really get to grips with the role, gain comprehensive business knowledge and develop the skills you need to lead at this level.

In addition to your training with us you will have 12 months access to our learning platform to help you continue your CPD journey.
This one day course is designed to give Managers and Safeguarding Leads the skills, understanding and confidence to undertake their role to ensure the wellbeing of others, including the prevention of abuse and neglect.
Attendance on this course assumes that Managers and Safeguarding Leads have a working knowledge of Safeguarding for Adults and Children due to their role. If you need a refresher please attend one of our Safeguarding sessions.

We are looking for Volunteer facilitators to help deliver the HOPE Programme® in Cornwall with Volunteer Cornwall.
