This course has been specifically designed to develop the leadership and management skills for those working or volunteering in the community & voluntary sector. We use actual case studies and experiences to contextualise your learning.
Volunteer Cornwall has been successfully delivering Volunteer Management qualifications since 2012 and this ILM course is an exciting new addition to our programme of volunteer management courses and workshops.
This Level 4 course in Leadership & Management has been developed to provide an initial training programme for those interested in a volunteer management role within the voluntary, community, public and private sectors.
The course is delivered over four days. To enable learners to fit the course around their work we have spread the course out to be delivered one day a week with a gap week between each session to provide additional time for any self learning or questions.

Without the funding, this course is priced at £550 inc VAT per learner.
This course is delivered through a mix of classroom based and online delivery plus self study time.
Learners will complete a written assignment for each unit and deliver a business presentation to demonstrate understanding and knowledge gained.
Learners will need 8 to 20 hours self-study time per unit to complete assignments.
