Effective Presentation Skills

Did you know that aside from the fear of dying, standing in-front of a group of people, giving a presentation is the second most fearful life experience?

The Effective Presentation Skills training aims to reduce fear and raise enthusiasm so that by the end of the experience you will become equipped, empowered, and effective in delivering your message to a group.

During this one-day course, you will discover how to give a fearless presentation to your audience.

The themes for the training are: -

• Understanding your audience’s needs
• Creating a meaningful message
• Constructing an engaging presentation
• Overcoming fear and enjoying being a presenter
• Delivering a two-minute presentation to the group

At the end of the session, you will receive a certificate of attendance and participation which will support your ‘Continuing Professional Development’ needs.

Funding

Funding may be available for individuals that meet the following criteria:

• Live in Cornwall
• Are a paid employee for a VCSE organisation
• Have not claimed ESF funding for training within the past 12 months

Without the funding, this course costs £180.00 per person to attend.
